HOW TO START A BUSINESS (Proverbs 24: 3-6)

It takes wisdom to build a successful business or anything worth having. Wisdom is one of the greatest key we need to build a profitable and lasting business.

In order to start out into a business we need to ascertain our abilities and determine if we are really cut out for business. One of the foremost factors that can destroy your business effectiveness is the over estimation of your ability and business talent.

1.1    HOW TO KNOW IF YOU ARE CUT FOR BUSINESS

v Are you a leader or a manger? It takes a leader to own a successful business

v Are you a high energy person? Do you get tired easily?

v Do you have self confidence? Do you know what it takes to keep you going when things go wrong?

v Are you organised and competitive because you will have competitors?

v Can you work long hours when the need arise?

v Do you have adequate resources? If you don’t have, do you know of other sources of funding?

v Are you in good health?

v Are you a risk taker?

v Are you prepared to make short-term sacrifice in return for a long term success?

v Do you have a unique selling product or service?

v Are you a good communicator and do you have the natural flair for business.

1.2    HOW TO KNOW THE KIND OF BUSINESS TO DO

Many have desire to enter into business but do not know exactly the kind of business they should embark on. Ht following will assist you to know the kind of business to do.

1.2a         CHECK FROM ABOVE

This is seeking guidance and direction from God. The bible says God is the one that teaches us to profit. Allow God to direct you to the business that will yield profit to you.

1.2b         CHECK FROM WITHIN

Where is your greatest talent and interest? You need to identify your dominant passion and talents and convert them into business. What are you really gifted for.

1.2c         CHECK FROM WITHOUT

What are the needs in the area that you live? Business is simply meeting the needs of the people by producing products or by the services you render. You need to find out the needs around you and come up with a service or a product.

MOSES FAMILY- ANGER

Genesis 49:5-7

MOSES SMOTE THE ROCK IN ANGER

GOD ALWAYS LEADS HIS PEOPLE FORWARD.

GOD LEADS TO BLESSING NOT TO LOSSES.

YOU CANNOT BE LED BY GOD AND BE STRANDED IN LIFE.

GOD LEADINGS LEADS TO TRIUMPH.

DUE TO THE LACK OF DIVINE DIRECTION IN THE LIFE OF PEOPLE, MANY HAVE SUFFERED IN LIFE BUT IN THIS NEW YEAR YOU SHALL NOT SUFFER.

WHY DIVINE DIRECTION.

TO ESCAPE DANGER- there are journeys not ordained of God.
IT IS TO GAIN SPEED. Genesis 24:12-15: And he said, O Lord God of my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me good speed this day, and shew kindness unto my master Abraham. 13 Behold, I stand[ here] by the well of water; and the daughters of the men of the city come out to draw water: 14 And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also:[ let the same be] she[ that] thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou hast shewed kindness unto my master. 15 And it came to pass, before he had done speaking, that, behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethuel, son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham's brother, with her pitcher upon her shoulder.

Many are going in cycles in life. They are still dealing with the same old issue year in and year out. There are a lot of people who have settled with defeat, poverty, sickness in their lives but this is the time to decide to be free and move to your next level.

Moving to the next level means achieving greater heights, making steady and consistent progress in life, having sustainable or irreversible progress in life, to move from one level to the other. This year the grace to move from where you are to the place you desire to be will be imparted upon your life.

When you settle down around your challenges and don’t move to your next level, your life become stagnant, you become ordinary and even common people will despise you. God expects you to move to your next level this year in every area of your life.

There are several things to do to move your next level. Here some few keys that can empower you to move to your next level;

1. Decide to go to the next level.

4. Get knowledge about the next level

12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

This is the secret of any great men in the kingdom both contemporary or dead. All the great men in the kingdom of God possessed heroic faith.

WHAT IS HEROIC FAITH?

It's the faith that chooses to embrace as a priority the advancement of the kingdom of God, kingdom agenda, kingdom vision with the resolve to overcome hardships, hindrances, oppositions knowing that God will reward me.


WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I USE MY FAITH FOR KINGDOM PROJECTS.


Job 36:11
11 If they obey and serve[ him], they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.

It's the consistent order of God that if I use my faith for the kingdom, blessings follow.


CONSEQUENCES OF NOT USING YOUR FAITH FOR KINGDOM PROMOTION

1, YOU RUN THE DANGER OF GOD BLOCKING SOME OPPORTUNITIES IN YOUR LIFE

2, GOD WILL RAISE A REPLACEMENT RIGHT BEFORE YOU WHO CAN DO WHAT YOU ARE MEANT TO DO.

3, YOU WILL ROB A GENERATION OF THEIR BLESSING.

4, YOU WILL NOT EXPERIENCE THE BREAKTHROUGH THAT CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE


HOW DO I GET BACK ON TRACK IF I HAVE NOT USED MY FAITH.

1, ELIMINATION- remove every form of hindrances from your life so you can obey God fully

2, EXPECTATION- know and expect the best after I have invested my best into the kingdom.

3, ENDURANCE- stay with it. Deal with immature folks. I have seen people who tell me, Pastor God brought me here but a little discomfort then they change their mind.

ENTITLEMENT- can go to God and make some claims and get access to his blessing.

YOU CAN USE YOUR FAITH TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE KINGDOM

2 Kings 12:4-5
4 And Jehoash said to the priests, All the money of the dedicated things that is brought into the house of the Lord,[ even] the money of every one that passeth[ the account], the money that every man is set at,[ and] all the money that cometh into any man's heart to bring into the house of the LORD, 5 Let the priests take[ it] to them, every man of his acquaintance: and let them repair the breaches of the house, wheresoever any breach shall be found.
